Illinois Institute of Technology’s 157th Commencement will take place at University of Illinois Chicago’s Credit Union 1 Arena, on Saturday, May 16, 2026. Please check this page regularly for information and important updates regarding Commencement.

2026 Commencement Ceremonies

There will be two separate, combined college-level ceremonies held on Saturday, May 16, 2026. 

The first combined ceremony will begin at 9 a.m. (CDT) for Armour College of Engineering, College of Architecture, Institute of Design, and Stuart School of Business. 

The second combined ceremony will begin at 2 p.m. (CDT) for the College of Computing and Lewis College of Science and Letters.

A separate Ph.D. Hooding Ceremony will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026, in the McCormick Auditorium in Hermann Hall on Mies Campus beginning at 10:30 a.m. (CDT).

Commencement for Chicago-Kent College of Law will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at the The Isadore and Sadie Dorin Forum—UIC Forum.
